The 2017 Ford Mustang GT’s 5.0-liter V-8 also has been revised. Mustang chief engineer Carl Widmann states that the only truly carryover piece from the current 5.0-liter is the crankshaft. Along with a new fuel-delivery system employing both port and direct injection, the updated V-8 also revs higher than before. A quad-pipe exhaust system replaces the current dual-pipe unit, and, as on its fiercest competitor, the Chevrolet Camaro, there’s an optional variable exhaust system that keeps things quiet at lower rpm but amps up the noise courtesy of valves that open when heavier throttle is applied
EXTIRIROR AND INTIRIOR CHANGES
Previous generations of Mustangs had limited budget, but over the years they have developed unique Mustang lovers who appreciate quality of the car and do not complain about the price.
2017 ford mustang coupe
What is certain is that the Ford Mustang has a very rich history. A series of new changes will make this model the most attractive, the most powerful and the most handsome car of his generation on the market. The new 2017 Ford Mustang will be built of lightweight materials such as aluminum panels, carbon dioxide fiber and others. Its characteristic body will have a rigid and strong look. The 2017 Ford Mustang will experience minimal external changes so far when compared with previous models. Powerful and sporty look will remain, perhaps now even more than before. Front bumper and grille will be redesigned.

On the nose of the vehicle, the car vents are larger than before. Rear end of the new 2017 Ford Mustang will have a quad-angle tailpipes and a redesigned spoiler. Wheels that complement the charm of the car resemble the Shelby GT 500th. Interior of the new 2017 Ford Mustang will be filled with the best equipment. Expected to be larger and more pleasant for passengers than before. Seats will be upholstered in finest leather.
Ford Mustang performance
Most of the Mustang’s evolution happened under its skin. Its turbocharged inline-4 available is an epic shift in how Ford defines performance, and the Mustang doesn’t come out badly for it. The

inline-4 delivers strong performance even though it underwhelms in its soundtrack. Of course we’d skip the base V-6 and shift attention right to the GT’s intensely strong 435-horsepower V-8; it hustles best when it’s amped up with a Performance Pack that includes a Torsen limited-slip rear end, summer tires, Brembo brakes and extra body bracing.
2017 FORD MUSTANG ENGINE
The 2017 Ford Mustang will feature three engine options. The base models will be equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 engine capable of producing 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The second engine will be a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder Eco Boost engine capable of producing 310 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The final and the most potent engine inside the 2017 Ford Mustang GT will be a 5.0-liter V8 unit that comes with 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. All the engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission system or a 6-speed automatic system.
With the sixth-generation Mustang’s debut for the 2015 model year, Ford showed it could give its iconic pony car modern moves while preserving its heritage cues. But the changes weren’t radical. All the traditional Mustang cues were mashed into the new pony car, and with a low and wide stance, the Mustang’s pretty and graceful canopy rests on muscular haunches. Yet some of the details are a little soggy—the tilted taillight panel, the hashmarks that hashtag the headlamps.
In the 2016 Mustang, more heritage cues reappeared—most notably, hood-vent turn signals and various California, Pony, and Black Accent Packages. A painted-black roof option is now also available on turbo and V-8 Mustang GT models.
All that means there are more chances to individualize the Mustang, which with its recent redesign became better detailed inside and out.

It’s not just a little more plush, but more technical and advanced—and in some forms, it’s become a luxury coupe of the highest order.
